Family Rules

Version: 2026-10-11-1. These rules accompany the Terms of Service.

LittleVoice is a private way for children and approved adults to exchange real voice messages. Everyone who participates must help keep it appropriate and respectful.

  1. Use your own adult account. Accept only invitations intended for you. A parent must approve you before messaging begins.
  2. Respect the child's boundaries. Do not frighten, pressure, threaten or manipulate a child. Never ask a child to hide unsafe conduct from a trusted adult.
  3. Keep content suitable. Do not send sexually explicit, exploitative, abusive, unlawful or threatening material.
  4. Respect recording privacy. Make sure other speakers know they are being recorded and obtain the permission required by law, including appropriate permission for another child. Avoid capturing private background conversations.
  5. Protect recordings. Do not post, sell, redistribute or use someone's voice for cloning or impersonation without the necessary rights and permissions. A family invitation is not permission to publish a child's voice.
  6. Respect access changes. Do not bypass removal, use a different account to contact a child after access is revoked or violate a custody or contact restriction.
  7. Use a phone for urgent help. LittleVoice cannot contact 911 and does not provide continuous monitoring. Do not assume that a delivered or listened message means someone is safe.

Report a safety, privacy or account concern to info@bnsdevelopments.com. Do not email sensitive recordings or identification unless we arrange a secure method. A parent can remove a contact in the app. BNS Development Inc. may restrict access while addressing a credible concern, subject to the Terms and applicable law.

Joining a family circle

Use your own adult account and accept only an invitation meant for you. A parent sees which account accepted and approves participation before messaging begins. Household parents and guardians can review both directions of the child’s conversations; trusted members can access only their own conversations. Removing a contact stops access but does not automatically delete every past message. Account deletion can also remove shared recordings.

Joining a family does not give you authority to authorize unrelated uses of a child’s information. App notification permission is a separate, optional choice.

An explanation to read with a child

This is your LittleVoice. You can use it to hear messages and send your voice to people your grown-up has chosen. Check who your message is for before sending it. Your message stays for a while, and someone who receives it may save it. Your grown-up can ask us about information we keep about you. If a message makes you feel worried or uncomfortable, stop and tell a grown-up you trust. You never have to send a message. For help right away, find a grown-up; LittleVoice cannot call for help.

Use an explanation the child can understand and respect their choices. This explanation is not a contract or a substitute for parental authorization.
